WHAT IS E-MEZ?
E-MEZ is the first peer-to-peer property finance portal, matching entrepreneurs with property investors. The site has been put together by experienced property professionals and takes its inspiration from the emergence of other specialist peer-to-peer lending sites on the web. We saw the need for a dedicated finance platform for the property industry; where entrepreneurs can seek funds and where investors can seek opportunity.
Initially, our idea was to help entrepreneurs attract the equity or 'mezzanine' funds that have become so vital to property investment in recent years but as we have developed the site, we see no reason why senior debt providers can not use E-MEZ as well.
At this stage, we are simply a notice board, all due diligence and investment decisions are strictly between the matched parties.
If E-MEZ appears popular within the industry we are keen to expand a range of services, and would be interested to hear from potential partners in establishing this site as the number one portal in the property finance industry.
